Lynx Coffee
About This Spot
Walking into Lynx Coffee is like stepping into a quiet pause nestled within the rhythm of busy Sherman Oaks. The space carries a gentle hum—soft conversations, the rhythmic pull of espresso machines, and the occasional clink of ceramic cups creating an atmosphere that feels both intentional and welcoming. Here, time seems to slow just enough to appreciate the small moments of ritual that come with a carefully crafted cup of coffee.
This is a place where you can watch coffee being made with thoughtful precision, the baristas moving deliberately but warmly through their craft. The pace may stretch a little longer than your typical grab-and-go spot, but that extra time is woven into the experience itself—each drink is an invitation to savor something made with a kind of reverence for detail and flavor. Whether you’re nursing a flat white or exploring one of their signature creations topped with a luxuriously spiced vanilla cream, you’ll find an attentive balance between function and artistry in every sip.
The coffee here holds a sort of quiet ambition—it’s about unfolding stories from single-origin beans like those from Colombia, Ethiopia, and Kenya, each cup bringing a distinct character to the table. You don’t just order coffee at Lynx; you join a small community of people who genuinely appreciate the nuances that make each brew special. And while the baristas’ evident passion shapes the mood, it’s the subtle human moments—smiles exchanged over steaming cups, curious patrons observing the barista’s craft, the gentle back-and-forth of recommendations—that truly enrich the visit.
The setting aligns beautifully with the neighborhood’s easygoing vibe, making it a natural spot to linger whether you’re starting your day or taking a break between errands. Soft natural light and comfortable seating invite you to settle, whether alone with your thoughts or in quiet company. It’s a locale where skill meets warmth, and coffee becomes more than a drink—it’s a small, thoughtful ceremony.

This place is amazing. All the people who work here that I have talked to really have a love for the coffee and the atmosphere. You can see that each barista really takes care in preparing every drink. One of the best coffee places within miles. The wait can be a bit long because of the care they put into every drink but that extra time shows. I've been around the area many times gone to every coffee place within several miles that does a pour over and this is by far the best place I've had. The espresso drink are too notch too. The flat white had almost no bitter notes. I'd never had one like that but now I'm a addicted. If you genuinely enjoy trying new coffee drink give this place a try it's a great addition to the area.

Line was quite long, though I heard it's not usually so busy. Ordered a flat white and pour over coffee (they call it a hand brew). Both were quite good. The flat white was a little on the milky side, but better than most coffee shops (seriously, a flat white isn't a latte!). The front staff were very friendly. Overall was good, I'd like to return someday when it's not so busy.

This place is truly NEXT LEVEL. I'm pretty functionally minded when it comes to coffee — as long as it brings me back to life I'm happy. Lynx made me realize although function is important, otherwise how do we human, form does not have to take a backseat in the equation. The care, love and artistry that Lynx puts into every drink is something I've only really seen at places that truly have passion for what they do or make. That all said, I'm truly a big fan of art, form and function and now I can get all of that in my coffee at Lynx. They even took it a step further and built a beautifully designed space you'll be happy to hang out in, drink your coffee or even do your work peacefully. I cannot wait to have The Praline and Snow again, both were delicious treats for my brain, stomach and eyes! 10/10 PERIOD! I'd say 'run, don't walk' but since you haven't had your coffee yet, drag yourself as quickly as you can to Lynx!

I don’t want to be dramatic, but I think this is the best coffee I’ve ever had. We got facials up the street at Sugarface Skincare and wanted a coffee after. My boyfriend found this spot. I grabbed a Magnolia and it was 100/10. We’ll definitely be back.

The best experience at this new coffee shop! Both our drinks (iced latte with their Mexican vanilla cream on top and the Praline Latte) were both AMAZING. Cannot wait to go back and try the matcha. Loved their their coffee bar was to the right and you can watch the coffee being made up close. So fun! They were so kind when taking our order and I couldn't believe how quickly they made our beverages 10/10 will be going again!

Step into a world of coffee magic where every sip is an adventure! The Oro is like a chocolatey symphony, with mocha taking center stage, harmonized by the spicy notes of cinnamon and cardamom. Meanwhile, the Snow is a matcha masterpiece, perfectly sweetened to let the vibrant green tea shine without being overshadowed. The baristas are not just skilled; they’re like coffee wizards, crafting drinks that are nothing short of spectacular! The playlist is a hit parade of tunes that keep the energy buzzing inside, while the outdoor area offers a serene escape, perfect for unwinding. This place is a treasure trove of flavors and vibes, and we’re already plotting our next visit to explore more of their delightful concoctions!

Lynxx Coffee has quietly set a new benchmark for specialty coffee in Los Angeles. Founded by Jared Sielski and Arian Behboodi, it reflects rare clarity of vision and disciplined execution. This is not trend-driven coffee; it is precision, hospitality, and restraint at the highest level. Sit at the bar and watch the focus of the baristas as each drink is prepared with intent, care, and exceptional ingredients. Watching Josh Gomez work is a reminder that coffee, when done right, is a craft. The beans are meticulously selected, ground to order on world-class equipment, and brewed without shortcuts. What truly elevates Lynxx is the team. Their knowledge, warmth, and professionalism rival leading restaurants and luxury hotels. It is no surprise Lynxx has become a destination for Southern California’s culinary community, with guests traveling from across the region and the occasional celebrity sighting. The line is part of the culture, and worth every minute. Lynxx is simply unmatched.

I was craving and crafted coffee on Sunday morning, and I keep seeing this place when I’m driving down Ventura, and I’m glad we took the opportunity to stop in. If you are in a hurry, this is not the place for you, even if they’re not busy it’s almost like 7 to 10 minutes to get a coffee . The staff was super friendly and very welcoming. We sat at the part of the coffee bar to watch the barista finish drinks. . It’s a really cute modern bright coffee shop . My husband had the chai and the green watch of snow, and he liked them both very much but the snow is his favorite . I have d the Oro which is a seasoned mocha, and it was good and not very sweet. I can’t remember where they said they got their pastries at, but we had the turkey and cheese croissant and it was absolutely delicious. The chocolate chip cookie was good and they warmed it up for us but for me it needs more salt. .
